Former WWE Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey appeared in the Never Before Told podcast on the LiveSigning YouTube channel to promote the upcoming release of her book “Our Fight.” During the interview, Rousey clarified that she has no intention of returning to WWE.

When asked about the backstage details that would be in her book, Rousy had the following to say.

Behind the scenes? How much of an absolute sh*t show it is at the WWE because they can’t hold the story over my head and hold me hostage with my own career. I don’t need anything from them, and I don’t intend on going back, so I can say everything that I think and feel while everybody else is still held captive by their organization,” said Rousey.

The UFC Hall of Famer has been critical of her time with WWE since her exit from the company in 2023. Her last stint with the company ended after her match against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam 2023, following which Rousey announced her retirement from professional wrestling.

According to ITR Wrestling, Rousey’s book also has some choice words about former Chairman Vince McMahon.

“It’s hard sometimes to know where the evil, unethical, slimeball character of Vince McMahon played out for the cameras ends and the actual questionably ethical, many times sued, and multiple times accused of sexual misconduct Vince McMahon begins. That blurred line between character and reality is a recurring theme within the WWE Universe. [Pay-per-views are] held in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and now twice a year in Saudi Arabia, a nation that restricts the rights of women in a way that I’m certain Vince McMahon wishes he could.”

Ronda Rousey had a great start with WWE when she debuted in 2018 and even went on to main event WrestleMania 35 alongside Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. However, she went on a downward spiral after the hype around her subsided as time went by, and coupled with creative differences, Rousey left the company in 2023, and it’s safe to say that she might not step inside a WWE ring ever again.
