The wrestling world lost a tremendous performer and a good human being in Bray Wyatt when the former WWE Champion passed away on August 24, 2023, due to a heart attack. Since then, wrestling fans have been speculating if WWE would induct Wyatt into the Hall of Fame this year.
However, WWE didn’t make any announcement regarding his induction this year but announced the release of a documentary in his honor, which will premiere on Peacock on April 1. Instead of inducting him into the Hall of Fame, WWE announced Wyatt’s father Mike Rotunda as an inductee along with his U.S. Express partner Barry Windham.
According to Dave Meltzer in the recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE’s decision to make a big documentary for Bray Wyatt resulted in them opting to not induct him into the Hall of Fame this year.
Meltzer wrote:
I was told this had something to do with the decision not to induct Wyatt into the Hall of Fame this year, that this year they were doing the big documentary for him and would induct him later.

The Undertaker will narrate the documentary and it will include interviews with names like John Cena, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, Becky Lynch, and Alexa Bliss, who’ll be sharing their experiences with the late Bray Wyatt.
