In the latest addition to a series of negative statements about WWE, Ronda Rousey accused current WWE superstar Drew Gulak of misconduct.
While answering a question about the ongoing Vince McMahon scandal during an interview with NewsNation, Rousey criticized the backstage culture in WWE. She claimed that current WWE superstar Drew Gulak pulled the string of her sweatpants backstage and said nobody did anything about it.
The accusation caused a stir in the pro wrestling community, and everyone waited for a response from either WWE or Drew Gulak.
Responding to Ronda Rousey’s allegations, Gulak posted a tweet explaining his side of the story. He claimed that the incident took place during a WWE event in 2022 and that he touched her drawstring by accident while attempting to shake her hand. He also stated that he even apologized for the mishap.
At a time when WWE is facing backlash over the Vince McMahon scandal, Ronda Rousey’s claim added more fuel to the fire. However, Gulak’s explanation also sounds legit, and we’ll find out more when or if Rousey reacts to Gulak’s tweet.
