Former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins earned the admiration of millions with his involvement in making WrestleMania 40 one of the most memorable events in WWE history.

Apart from defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre, Rollins competed in the main event of Night 1 when he teamed up with Cody Rhodes in a losing effort against Roman Reigns and The Rock. He was also instrumental in Rhodes ending Reign’s 1316-day title reign on Night 2.

However, what stood out is that Rollins did all this while battling a knee injury. Following his appearance in the final moments of the match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 Night 2, Seth Rollins underwent knee surgery and has been on hiatus ever since with no clear update on his return.

His wife and former WWE Women’s World Champion, Becky Lynch, has also left WWE following the expiry of her contract, with no update if she’ll return or is looking after other ventures.

Amidst all this uncertainty, Seth Rollins has provided an update on his recovery after knee surgery. Rollins posted a video of him lifting weights on his wrestling school, The Black and The Brave Wrestling Academy’s Instagram account.

He appears to be recovering well from his surgery and on the right path to making a high-profile return to WWE. Wrestling fans are happy after witnessing Rollins’ current condition and hoping the former World Heavyweight Champion returns very soon.

In the meantime, WWE is all prepped to go into their next premium live events with NXT Battleground on June 9, Clash at the Castle on June 15, Money in the Bank on July 6, and SummerSlam on August 3.

Seth Rollins’ WrestleMania 40 opponent, Drew McIntyre, will look to reclaim the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at the Castle. With Rollins’ other rival, CM Punk, rumored to compete for the title at SummerSlam, The Visionary will have two worthy opponents waiting for him when he makes his return to WWE.
