The 2024 SummerSlam is all set to emanate live from the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, this Saturday. This year’s event is the first SummerSlam held in Cleveland, Ohio, in 18 years, as the last time the Biggest Party of the Summer came to the city was back in 1996.

WWE has chalked up the perfect card for the event, with six title matches and one non-title match. It will be the first time in 5 years that all the singles championships on the WWE main roster will be on the line at the event, as the last time it happened was in 2018.

With The Miz hosting the event and Japanese wrestler Naomichi Marufuji as a special guest, and with the fans expecting the return of a high-profile superstar, this year’s event would undoubtedly be a blockbuster for WWE.

Amidst all the speculations, let’s look at six outcomes the fans might witness this Saturday at the Biggest Party of the Summer.

#6 Tiffany Stratton Cash In On Bayley

Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, and Bayley in WWE

Nia Jax earned the right to face Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam after winning the 2024 Queen of the Ring tournament. However, her newfound alliance with 2024 Miss Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton has opened the doors for an exciting outcome in this match.

Bayley won the championship from her former Damage CTRL partner, Iyo Sky, at WrestleMania 40 and is holding on to the title for 116 days. Nia Jax will be a formidable opponent for her at the event, but she could pull off the impossible by overcoming the powerhouse at SummerSlam after a tough fight.

But Tiffany Stratton could capitalize on the opportunity to cash in the MITB contract on a bruised-up Bayley to capture her first Women’s Championship in WWE.

#5 Bron Breakker Becomes The New Intercontinental Champion

Bron Breakker Vs. Sami Zayn at SummerSlam 2024

From the moment he ended Gunther’s historic 666-day title reign at WrestleMania 40 to become the new Intercontinental Champion, Sami Zayn has been the embodiment of a fighting champion in WWE.

He’s had five successful title defenses so far against the likes of Chad Gable, Bronson Reed, and his SummerSlam opponent Bron Breakker. Going into the match as the clear underdog, Sami Zayn overcame the odds to defeat the powerhouse Bron Breakker to retain the title at Money in the Bank 2024.

However, the second-generation wrestler earned another shot at Zayn and the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. No matter how good Sami Zayn’s title reign has been so far, it’s undeniable that WWE would look to put the strap on the young Bron Breakker at the event, which would be the first step on his road to becoming a future main eventer.

#4 Dominik Mysterio Betrays Rhea Ripley

Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, and Liv Morgan in WWE

The Liv Morgan Revenge Tour has been one of the most interesting storylines in WWE for the past few months. After Rhea Ripley got injured and vacated the Women’s World Championship, Liv Morgan swooped into the scenes and defeated Becky Lynch to win the title at the WWE King & Queen of the Ring PLE.

She also took it as her mission to take everything that belonged to Rhea Ripley, including the Judgment Day faction. She played mind games with Ripley’s boy-toy Dominik Mysterio and tried to seduce him every week.

She also tried to cozy up to the remaining Judgment Day members by showering them with gifts and helping Finn Balor and JD McDonagh capture the World Tag Team Championship.

However, Rhea Ripley returned on the July 8, 2024, episode of Raw to confront Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. Mysterio seemed to side with Ripley and cut ties with Morgan in the following weeks, but it might all be a ruse as Morgan might’ve messed with Mysterio’s head enough for him to choose to be Morgan’s daddy rather than being Ripley’s boy toy.

The fans might witness a shocking turnaround at SummerSlam and see Dominik Mysterio betray his Mami Rhea Ripley and side with Liv Morgan.

#3 Gunther Wins The World Heavyweight Championship

Damian Priest and Gunther

When Damian Priest won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, almost every WWE fan thought he was a transitional champion. With Clash at the Castle fast approaching in Drew McIntyre’s home country, everyone thought Priest would drop the title to The Scottish Warrior at the event.

But McIntyre’s feud with CM Punk made sure Damian Priest held on to the title. While McIntyre screwed out of the picture, Damian Priest will now defend the championship against the 2024 King of the Ring tournament winner, Gunther.

Gunther has had the upper hand throughout the build-up to the event by upstaging Priest in promo segments. Since Gunther’s promotion to the main event scenes has been on WWE’s agenda for a while, it’s safe to assume that Damian Priest’s impressive World Heavyweight Championship run will end at the hands of The Ring General at SummerSlam.

#2 CM Punk Puts Hands On Seth Rollins & Get Screwed

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre’s feud has been one of the highlights of WWE television for the past few months. What started as word warfare turned into absolute hatred toward each other, and despite being injured, CM Punk cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40 and ensured he did not get anywhere near the title in the following months.

Punk’s latest screwjob was at Money in the Bank 2024 when he prevented McIntyre from successfully cashing in his newly won MITB contract during the World Heavyweight Championship match between Damian Priest and Seth Rollins.

While Punk prevented McIntyre from winning the world title, he rekindled his old animosity with Seth Rollins, which led to The Visionary becoming the Special Guest Referee for the Punk Vs. McIntyre match at SummerSlam.

Seth Rollins took a page out of the Bloodline Rules match he competed in at WrestleMania 40 and announced that the world title match at SummerSlam would be under his rules.

Rollins would look to make life difficult for both Punk and McIntyre at SummerSlam, and knowing their history, CM Punk would undoubtedly get physical with Rollins, which would result in the latter taking out Punk, allowing McIntyre to score the win.

#1 Roman Reigns Return With Paul Heyman & Jimmy Uso

After Cody Rhodes ended Roman Reigns’ historic 1316-day reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, The Tribal Chief went on a lengthy hiatus from WWE.

With Reigns’ absence, the entire structure of The Bloodline began to change, with Solo Sikoa taking control. He first kicked his brother Jimmy Uso out of the group and then brought Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu as the new members.

He then anointed himself as the new Tribal Chief and asked the Wise Man Paul Heyman to acknowledge him. Heyman’s loyalty to Roman Reigns prevented him from accepting Solo Sikoa as the Tribal Chief, which resulted in the New Bloodline attacking Heyman.

Sikoa then set his sights on Cody Rhodes and the Undisputed Championship. The New Bloodline defeated Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens at Money in the Bank, which earned Sikoa the right to challenge Rhodes for the championship at SummerSlam.

With the fans eagerly awaiting Roman Reigns’ return, there are high chances that it might happen this Saturday. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens might try to help Rhodes against The New Bloodline, but the return of Jimmy Uso, Paul Heyman, and Roman Reigns might take Solo Sikoa by surprise, allowing Rhodes to retain his title.
