According to PWInsider, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, known as The Motor City Machine Guns, have finished their tenure with TNA. They are two of the most successful wrestlers in TNA history and have held numerous championships within the company, including separate reigns with the World Championship.

With their contracts set to expire at the end of March, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin had their last match with TNA during the TNA Impact taping on March 23, 2024.

Following their match, the TNA locker room reportedly gave the tag team an emotional sendoff backstage. Fighful Select confirmed the reports and added that the company has its doors open for The Motor City Machine Guns if they intend to return, but it appears they’re not going to negotiate a new contract with the company.

Their next destination has given rise to speculations among wrestling fans as they have appeared in All Elite Wrestling at the 2022 All Out PPV, and Alex Shelley has made a few appearances for WWE in 2005 and 2020. It will be interesting to see which promotion The Motor City Machine Guns will choose.
