As reported by PWInsider, former General Manager and occasional wrestler Armando Estrada has signed a 5-year Legends deal with WWE.
Estrada’s signing comes after WWE signed other legendary wrestlers like Jacquelyn and Victoria to similar contracts. However, despite Estrada saying his new contract is for special appearances and merchandising, WWE might have more plans for the former ECW General Manager.
Armando Estrada First Signed With WWE In 2004
Armando Estrada started his WWE career in 2004, starting in the company’s former developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling. Following his stint in OVW, WWE called Estrada up to the main roster in 2006, where he worked as Umaga’s manager until 2007.
WWE then made him the ECW General Manager in August 2007 and demoted him to a jobber in the later stages of his career before releasing him in November 2018.

Will Estrada Become A Part Of The New Bloodline?
Estrada did mention his current WWE deal is for special appearances and merchandising, including action figures and video games. However, WWE has the opportunity to do something more entertaining with him.
WWE could use his old allegiance with Umaga to pair him with Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline. Solo Sikoa has a Right Hand Man in Tama Tonga, an enforcer in Jacob Fatu, and the Infamous Tonga Loa, but the group does not have a Wiseman.
The New Bloodline kicked Paul Heyman out as the Wiseman on the June 28, 2024, episode of SmackDown. While they are doing well by themselves, they could use a voice that can do the talking for them.
That’s where Armando Estrada could come in handy, and his history with Umaga makes him the perfect candidate to take over as the New Bloodline’s new Wiseman. Wrestling fans have to wait a little longer to see what WWE does with Estrada in the coming days.
