WWE announced the arrival of a brand new show called WWE Speed, which will air exclusively on X from April 3, 2024. The show will feature the superstars competing in 3-minute matches with the ultimate prize being the new Speed Championship.
Corey Graves was featured in the introduction video and walked everyone through how the matches would work and revealed the new show would debut in time for the WrestleMania weekend.
WWE will hold a tournament to crown the inaugural Speed Champion and it appears the company has already started filming the matches with Pete Dunne listed as one of the producers.
WWE already has 15 championships across all three brands but it appears the Speed Championship will be exclusive to the show on X and might make only a few appearances on the main television shows.
