The company has announced five matches for the event so far, with the possibility of adding one more. The following is the current line-up:

  1. Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley – Singles Match for the Women’s World Championship. With Dominik Mysterio suspended above the ring in a shark cage.
  2. Damian Priest vs. Finn Bálor – Singles Match
  3. Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley or Naomi – WWE Women’s Championship
  4. Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu – Tag Team Match
  5. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre – Hell in a Cell Match
  6. Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn – Singles Match for the World Heavyweight Championship (WWE could make the match official next week on Raw)

WWE has revived the Bad Blood event after two decades and would look towards putting on an entertaining show. With that in mind, let’s look at the predictions for each match and analyze what twists and turns WWE might cook up for the show.

#6 Liv Morgan (c) vs. Rhea Ripley – Women’s World Championship

Does Rhea Ripley Have The Advantage Or Will The Judgment Day Find A Way?

WWE Bad Blood features the next chapter of the rivalry between Rhea Ripley’s rivalry with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. Morgan will defend the Women’s World Championship against Ripley at the event, and Raw GM Adam Pearce ensured the match would not have any outside interference.

Ripley and Morgan will battle it out for the title as Dominik Mysterio hangs above the ring in a shark cage. The stipulation might neutralize any threat Mysterio might pose for Ripley, but Adam Pearce needs to do something about Carlito and JD McDonagh.

Carlito and McDonagh could make their presence felt during the match, but The Eradicator could find a way to fend them off and defeat Liv Morgan to reclaim the Women’s World Championship.

Prediction: Rhea Ripley Wins The Women’s World Championship

#5 Damian Priest vs. Finn Bálor

Will Damian Priest Get Some Payback At WWE Bad Blood?

Former Judgment Day brothers Finn Balor and Damian Priest have been at loggerheads with each other since SummerSlam. Priest has been looking for retribution against Balor, who cost him the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, and he will get his chance at WWE Bad Blood.

WWE must have immense faith in the Judgment Day storyline to feature them in two matches on the event, but fans cannot expect both Terror Twins to emerge victorious in their matches.

Looking at it from his shoes, Finn Balor has valid reasons to do what he did to Damian Priest. Their rivalry has what it takes to go for another round, and Balor might walk out with the victory at Bad Blood.

Prediction: Finn Balor Defeats Damian Priest

#4 Nia Jax (c) vs. Bayley or Naomi – WWE Women’s Championship

Who Will Nia Jax Defend Her WWE Women’s Championship Against?

Last week’s SmackDown featured a tag team match that saw WWE Women’s Champion teaming with Tiffany Stratton against Bayley and Naomi. The match’s stipulation was whoever among Bayley and Naomi to get the win for their team would become the No.1 contender for Jax’s WWE Women’s Championship, and if they lost, the one who got pinned would have to leave SmackDown.

The match had a controversial finish after Bayley and Naomi simultaneously pinned Nia Jax. GM Nick Aldis then announced a No.1 contender’s match between Naomi and Bayley for next week’s SmackDown, and the winner will face Nia Jax for the title at WWE Bad Blood.

The probable outcome of that match could be a DQ finish with Jax and Tiffany Stratton interfering. It could lead to Aldis making a triple-threat match for the title at Bad Blood, and both Bayley and Naomi could get a shot at Nia Jax’s title.

Or if WWE is planning a singles match for the title, Bayley could be the one to emerge victorious.

Coming to the actual title match, in case of a triple threat, Bayley and Naomi might let their blooming animosity divert them from their goal and let Nia Jax escape with the win. In the end, Naomi could turn heel on Bayley.

In case of a singles match, Naomi could turn heel and interfere to cost Bayley the title. Either way, Nia Jax will retain the title, and Naomi will turn heel. The match could also witness Tiffany Stratton contemplate a cash-in but back out at the last moment or get taken out before she can do so.

Prediction: Nia Jax Retains The WWE Women’s Championship

#3 Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu

Can The Former Foes Coexist At WWE Bad Blood?

With The new Bloodline having the numbers to their advantage, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns had no choice but to put their differences aside and form an unlikely partnership to take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood.

WWE produced a fantastic segment with Reigns and Rhodes facing off inside the Georgia Tech field. Despite giving his word that he’d have Rhodes’ back at Bad Blood, The OTC made his intention of reclaiming the Undisputed WWE Championship clear.

Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu would look to take advantage of Reigns and Rhodes’ flawed partnership and use it to score the win at the PLE. With Zilla Fatu’s rumored WWE signing and Tama Tonga’s brother Hikuleo reportedly joining NXT, the match could have some surprising twists.

In the end, despite their attempts to coexist, Reigns and Rhodes could fall short, and Solo Sikoa could pin Roman Reigns to set up the storyline for Survivor Series WarGames.

Prediction: Solo Sikoa Pins Roman Reigns

#2 Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn – World Heavyweight Championship

Will Gunther Give Sami Zayn His Title Shot At WWE Bad Blood?

After Gunther retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton at Bash in Berlin, a familiar foe stepped up as his new challenger. Sami Zayn, who ended Gunther’s 666-day Intercontinental Championship run at WrestleMania 40, confronted The Ring General and revealed his intention to do the same with the World Heavyweight Championship.

However, Gunther hasn’t accepted Zayn’s challenge despite the latter’s perseverance in the past few weeks. Even Bret Hart couldn’t convince The Ring General, and Zayn defeating Gunther’s ally Ludwig Kaiser wasn’t also enough.

However, with just a few days left before the event, fans can expect WWE to make the match official on next week’s Raw. But despite getting the title shot, Sami Zayn might not replicate his WrestleMania heroics, and Gunther will defeat Zayn at Bad Blood to retain the title.

Prediction: Gunther Defeats Sami Zayn & Retains The Title

#1 CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre – Hell in a Cell Match

Who Will Walk Out Of WWE Bad Blood With The Win?

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre developed such animosity between each other over the past few months that a Hell in a Cell match sounds like the perfect finish to their grueling rivalry.

Both superstars have vowed to take each other to their limits inside the steel structure. The fans can expect to witness a hard-hitting and brutal contest between Punk and McIntyre.

They had an entertaining strap match at Bash in Berlin, and CM Punk was in great shape. There are high chances that Punk and McIntyre could main event Bad Blood, and the two superstars will look to put on a hard-hitting contest before sending the fans on their way home.

CM Punk has competed in four Hell in a Cell matches until now, with two wins and two losses. He will score one more victory and get the lead in his record to 3-2. On the other hand, McIntyre is all set to go 0-3 inside the steel structure.

Prediction: CM Punk Defeats Drew McIntyre
