WWE announced on X that the company will return to the United Kingdom for the second Clash At The Castle premium live event on June 15, 2024.
The last Clash At The Castle event took place in September 2022 at the Principality Stadium, in Cardill, Wales. The event saw Drew McIntyre take on Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event. However, McIntyre fell victim to The Bloodline’s antics and had to settle for a singing session with Tyson Fury to end the show.
City & Venue
While WWE announced the return of the premium live event, the company hasn’t revealed the city and venue for the show and has reserved the announcement for tomorrow.
However, some eagle-eyed fans caught the clue WWE intentionally left in the poster.
The poster features a lion symbol, which looks very similar to the one in the ‘Lion Rampant’ Royal Banner Of Scotland. It made the fans deduce that Scotland would host the event, with the rumored venue being the Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow.
If the rumors come true, Drew McIntyre could return to his home country as the World Heavyweight Champion if he defeats Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40. Or if things don’t go his way at WrestleMania, he might have his crowning moment in front of his home country audience.
Update:
While the original rumors stated the Ibrox Stadium as the potential venue, WWE announced the OVO Hydro Arena as the official venue for the event.
