CM Punk appeared in a video package on this week’s episode of WWE Raw in which he confirmed his presence for WrestleMania 40.

CM Punk competed in his first televised WWE match in almost a decade when he entered the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble match. However, he tore his right triceps during the match, which took him out of action and the WrestleMania 40 card.

WWE had allegedly planned to have Punk win the 2024 men’s Elimination Chamber match and go on to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40. But Punk’s injury changed the entire WrestleMania card, and while there’s no chance of Punk getting inside the ring, it appears the company will have him at the event in some capacity.

Punk is set to return on next week’s episode of Raw, but The Second City Saint revealed that he’d be at WrestleMania whether he’s invited or not.

It’s unclear what role CM Punk could play at WrestleMania 40, and people are leaning toward him being the host of this year’s Showcase Of The Immortals. We’ll have more answers when Punk returns on next week’s episode of Raw.
