The August 26, 2024, episode of WWE Raw will emanate live from the Amica Mutal Pavilion in Providence, Rhode Island. This week’s episode would be the go-home show for the Bash In Berlin PLE, and fans could see the superstars from the red brand looking to make their final statements before going to Berlin.

The announced match card for the event is:

  1. Braun Strowman vs. Bronson Reed
  2. Uncle Howdy vs. Chad Gable
  3. The first round of the Intercontinental Championship Tournament

Apart from the matches, fans will also witness the fallout of The Judgment Day’s beatdown on Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest last week, Randy Orton confronting Gunther one last time before their big title match in Berlin, and a potential altercation between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.

With that said, here are the preview, rumors, and predictions for this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

Will Braun Strowman Put An End To Bronson Reed’s Destruction?

Bronson Reed has been on the warpath on WWE Raw in the past few weeks and injured Seth Rollins and R-Truth by performing his signature Tsunami splashes on them multiple times.

He looked to do the same to The Miz last week before Braun Strowman made the save and reminded Reed to pick on someone his own size.

WWE announced a one-on-one match between the two behemoths on this week’s Raw. Reed could pick up a decisive victory over Strowman, or the contest could end in a disqualification. Either way, Strowman is not getting a clean win over Bronson Reed, who has been one of the hottest acts on Raw for the past three weeks.

The Intercontinental Championship Tournament

After retaining the Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn in a 2-out-of-3 falls match on the August 12, 2024, episode of WWE Raw, Bron Breakker announced last week that there would be a tournament to decide the No.1 contender to his title.

Following his announcement, Jey Uso revealed he would be one of the contestants, but WWE hasn’t revealed the full bracket for the tournament yet.

The other possible contestants might include Sheamus, Pete Dunne, Dragon Lee, Rey Mysterio, and Ludwig Kaiser, but WWE will make the final announcement before the show.

WWE also has the opportunity to use the tournament to develop another ongoing storyline.

Will Xavier Woods Finally Snap?

The potential break-up of The New Day has been one of the hottest storylines of WWE Raw for the past few weeks. With Kofi Kingston oblivious to Xavier Woods’ feelings and Odyssey Jones’ involvement adding more heat, Woods is slowly leaning towards a heel turn.

While fans expected the turn to take place on last week’s episode, they witnessed another clear sign of Xavier Woods’ disappointment when Kofi Kingston tagged in Odyssey Jones instead of him.

While it’s unclear how and when WWE has decided to turn Woods heel, the company has a perfect opportunity with the Intercontinental Championship tournament.

Kofi Kingston could enter himself in the tournament as The New Day’s representative, which could cause Xavier Wood to finally snap and turn on Kingston and cost him the match.

Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest’s Answer To Last Week’s Attack

As predicted in last week’s preview, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest suffered a beatdown at the hands of their former Judgment Day partners and Liv Morgan.

With only a few days to go for the Bash in Berlin PLE, where they will take on Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan in a mixed tag team match, The Terror Twins will look to get some retribution for last week’s attack.

However, The New Judgment Day will not be looking to make things easy for Ripley and Priest. The fans could see either Ripley and Priest get even for the attack or suffer yet another beatdown.

Randy Orton’s Final Statement Before Bash In Berlin

Despite enduring an early beatdown at the hands of Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser on last week’s episode of WWE Raw, Randy Orton redeemed himself by scoring a victory against Kaiser in the main event.

Gunther has been doing an excellent job with his promos and made things personal with Randy Orton by taking shots at his family. He also called Orton a one-trick pony, referring to the RKO.

With only a few days before their title match at Bash in Berlin, Randy Orton could look to make his final statement in a confrontation with Gunther on this week’s Raw.

Have WWE Lost Interest In The Wyatt Sicks?

While WWE has been doing an excellent job booking The Wyatt Sicks since their debut, a wild rumor has been spreading among fans on social media about the company not having any significant plans for the group.

While no reliable source has backed up the rumor, the fact that WWE booked Uncle Howdy’s in-ring debut on this week’s Raw instead of a high-profile PLE does raise some concerns.

Uncle Howdy will take on Chad Gable in a one-on-one match on Raw, and fans are hoping it will end the storyline between the Sicks and Gable as dragging it even more could cause more damage than good.

Will CM Punk & Drew McIntyre Brawl It Out?

After embarrassing Drew McIntyre by whipping him with a leather belt two weeks ago on Raw, CM Punk announced he and McIntyre will compete in a Strap Match at Bash in Berlin.

Both superstars vowed to destroy each other in Berlin, and fans could witness a preview of that on this week’s Raw. Drew McIntyre hasn’t done much since enduring the humiliating beatdown except make some verbal threats, and WWE might look to change before Bash in Berlin.

The fans might witness a physical altercation between McIntyre and Punk on Raw, with The Scottish Warrior standing tall over CM Punk.
